The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) was organized in 1976 as governing body for professional surfing. The ASP organizes the ASP World Championship Tour.
It sanctions six professional surfing circuits including: the Foster's ASP World Tour and ASP Women's World Tour, the men's and women's World Qualifying Series (WQS), the World Longboarding Tour (WLT), the World Junior Championships (WJC), the World Masters Championships (WMC), and Speciality Events. The ASP has been dedicated to showcasing the world's best surfing talent in a variety of progressive formats and challenging locations since 1976.
