Apollonia is an ancient town (former Apollonia in Mygdonia) in Greek Macedonia along the Via Egnatia, about midway between Thessalonica and Amphipolis. The modern town and municipality Apollonia is part of the Thessaloniki Prefecture and had 4.137 inhabitants as of 2001.
