Angellica Bell
Angellica Bell (born 24 March 1976 in London) is an English television and radio presenter.
BiographyBell was educated in Ealing, West London at Notting Hill & Ealing High School. She later earned her BA Honours degree in Politics. Television careerBell joined CBBC in May 2000. She became its main anchor of shows, including That's Genius!, Xchange, 50/50 and Short Change. She also presented EastEnders Xtra. A cellist and pianist, she has also co-presented BBC Radio 3's Making Tracks programme for children. She presented Holiday Hitsquad, the BBC travel programme formerly known as Departure Lounge. She has run the London Marathon in 2002 and the Great North Run four times, with her quickest time being 1 hour and 42 minutes. On 30 November 2006, Bell announced she was leaving CBBC with immediate effect. Bell's break into adult-mainstream programming appeared on BBC One where she presented The Great British Village Show, with Alan Titchmarsh and James Martin, which was broadcast in the spring of 2007. Between 3 and 16 March, 2007, Bell appeared in the celebrity Comic Relief does Fame Academy. Also in 2007, she presented Dance Xtra for BBC Three and Children in Need. At the end of 2007, she left her tied contract with the BBC and became freelance. She is currently one of the presenters on the new series of The One Show. In Autumn 2008 she will host the CBBC show with a twist Election, and the ITV2 reality show CelebAir. Personal lifeBell works regularly for a number of different charities and is on the board of governors at her local school. In July 2008 she announced that her 18 month marriage to personal trainer Stuart Amory had ended, and that she was in a relationship with GMTV presenter, Michael Underwood.[1] Filmography
