   mild, soft, Sw. mjuk, Dan. myg, D. muik, Goth. mukam[=o]dei
   gentleness.]
   1. Mild of temper; not easily provoked or orritated; patient
      under injuries; not vain, or haughty, or resentful;
      forbearing; submissive.
